Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA appoints new librarian. The Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure has appointed Dr. Belau Olatunde Gbadamosi as the new University Librarian with effect from 1st August, 2016. Gbadamosi a Chartered Librarian, holds a Doctorate degree in Library and Information Studies from the University of Ibadan after a Bachelor degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Library Studies (MLS) at the same University. He started his career at the Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Lanlate Campus, Oyo State in 1991 and rose through the ranks to become the College Librarian in 2010.
